United Gene Group was found on base of Fudan University by Professor Mao Yumin and Professor Xie Yi as well as a group of other professors.

During the past 10 years since its found, United Gene Group takes the objective of “To Decode Our Lives is to Benefit Ourselves" and devotes itself to the research and development of biological technology as well as human health, yielding a successful and outstanding result. With two listed companies on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited(SEHK) respectively named United Gene High-Tech Group Limited (0399 HK) and Extrawell Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited (0858 HK) and more than ten controlling or relevant companies such as United Gene Health Group Limited., Fudan Health International (MCO)Limited, Shanghai BioStar Genechip, Inc., United Gene Group has already become a famous and outstanding enterprise in the area of biological technology, pharmaceutics and health industry.

Now United Gene Group is expanding the life and health industry in many aspects, including biological high-tech service, health service, biological pharmaceutics, etc. The group claimed patents for over 3800 works, among which 1200 foreign patents were applied through international monopoly cooperative organization. United Gene Group has undertaken more than 30 research projects including National 863 Project, and two international cooperative projects, while 10 achievements won honor by excellence rewards in Shanghai and China and two achievements won the Second Prizes of National Science and Technology Progress Award. Through years of hardships, United Gene Group provided technical services for over 300 works funded by National 863 Project and National 973 Project.

United Gene Group carries out its tenet of benefit ourselves in a variety of ways.
